Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has prioritized the implementation of eGovernance initiatives to enhance service delivery for its citizens. In line with this objective, BMC has launched a mobile device-enabled service delivery initiative.

The BMC-developed mobile application, called MyBMC, utilizes the latest mobile technology to facilitate information sharing and service delivery in both English and Marathi.

With this application, users can:

 <li>Check and pay outstanding or advance property tax.</li>
 <li>Check and pay water bills.</li>
 <li>Check and pay tenancy rent.</li>
 <li>Request tree trimming services.</li>
 <li>Raise complaints regarding potholes on Mumbai's roads.</li>
 <li>Raise general complaints.</li>
 <li>View the status of drain cleaning and request cleaning services.</li>
 <li>Access emergency contacts.</li>
 <li>Stay updated on city-wide weather conditions.</li>
 <li>Find important locations such as schools, hotels, petrol pumps, and hospitals.</li>
 <li>View ward office addresses.</li>
 <li>Access the development plan for Mumbai city.</li>
 <li>Find important e-mail IDs.</li>
 <li>Access information related to Covid-19.</li>
